Live Music
On Saturday night we bring you Chris James & Martin Fletcher, local Blues and Roots musicians playing guitars and harmonicas respectively.
Check out this track. I love it.

Chris has played music for the last 30 years as a solo acoustic guitarist, playing slide and fingerpicking blues and original songs. He has played at many of the major national Blues Festivals and has also opened for many of the major Blues performers around such as John Mayall, Dr. Feelgood, Earl Thomas and Nine Below Zero.
Martin started playing blues harmonica in 1971. Approval from Chicago legend Big John Wrencher helped to keep him motivated at a time when blues players and bands seemed to be disappearing. He’s played with various bands, The Blues Burglars and Martin Fletcher’s Usual Suspects and has worked with Hokum Hotshot Jim Murray. Martin has played numerous festivals in the UK and Europe, particularly Peer Blues in Belgium.
Chris and Martin were Finalist at the New Brunswick Battle of the Blues.
On Friday we’ve got live music from Lewis “I started playing blues guitar after the release of the first Seasick Steve album, snapping three strings of an old guitar and learning to use a slide. Ever since then, blues music has become a real driver of my guitar playing. Mississippi John Hurt has influenced my style immensely and has turned me onto a more folk orientated blues sound. I love the inclusivity of blues: everyone can join for a jam or a story”.
